The church in Cuba has a most amazing understanding of Christianity. According to them if a Christian church does not have daughter churches it is barren! Each month (the) team of 400 people is leading some 15,000 people to Christ. One of the great highlights of (this past) year in Cuba was to be able to gather our four hundred workers in a camp in Santa Clara. The workers were able to meet the entire team for the first time. There was wonderful fellowship, great Bible teaching, and the event was the only one of its kind.Another wonderful highlight related to this event was the permit by the communist party. The permit for transportation of so many workers, the permit for the pastoral staff from the U.S and the permit to gather in the camp were all granted quickly by the central communist party.Even as Mr. Castro's health wanes, his brother Raul, a family man, is poised to take control and to lead the country through its upcoming transition. The Need of the Moment in Cuba is to multiply our efforts to bring in the mighty harvest before materialism becomes king. Please help us as there are hundreds of workers on a waiting list to join us full-time in evangelism and church planting.
Manny asks, "Would you like to join us in what the Lord is doing in Cuba?"
We'll keep you posted on how it goes over the next week as we do in fact join Manny in the Lord's work in Cuba.
